They indeed have immense potential and it has to be realized for a greener better India has planned to play an active sold by training the solar energy and hydro electric power to supply the massive rural population in India with electricity.
The main problem is putting these resources in to use in the lack of awareness. Events held to popularize these resources do their bug.
These renewable resources have a lot of potential and can change the course of future for the developing nations by providing the much needed power source.
