It is been a very hard year for India. There has been a lot that India has to endure this year, like the economic slow down and the increase in the number of job losses. But the one which has affected India most is the drought.

This has affected India agriculture industry a lot. There has been only 30% of the annual rainfall this year. This has greatly stalled the agricultural process. This will certainly affect the national crop yields.

There should be adequate measures from the government so that, the farmers of India do not suffer. There needs to awareness among the farmers to judiciously use the available water resources. The government should try its best to prevent crisis such as these in the future.
